This cask strength single malt whisky is from the relatively 'new'Highland distillery Allt-A-Bhainne in the district of Speyside and is a limited bottling 284 bottles from Cask number 37.
Tasting Notes
Slightly sweet smoky scents with just a hint of ginger lead to similar flavours backed by a sweet maltiness.
About the Allt-A-Bhainne distillery.
Allt-A-Bhainne is Gaelic for 'the milk burn'and the distillery lies to the west of the River Fiddich in the foothills of Benrinnes, near Dufftown. It was commissioned in 1975 and expanded in 1989.
